PlantWave, by Data Garden, is a device that translates real-time data from living plants into music, creating an experience that leaves you feeling relaxed, connected and inspired. Every note is a real-time expression of changes in a plant.

For Plantasia, PlantWave will be installing a bespoke audio installation using plants featured on Mort Garson’s iconic 1976 album.



Botanical Workshops & Activities

Local farmer and textile artist Xiaofan—whose practice centers on botanical dye, natural pigments, printmaking and hand-sewn creations—invites you to a drop-in cyanotype experience at Plantasia.

Take a self-guided stroll through Seed Song Farm to forage for leaves, ferns, flowers, or any botanicals that catch your eye, and bring your finds to arrange on a prepared cotton bandana and expose it to the sun. Watch the magic happen as the iconic Prussian blue develops, leaving you with a one-of-a-kind wearable keepsake that’s connected to the land and the spirit of Plantasia.

All materials provided. No experience or sign-up needed—just come by, create, and carry a piece of the farm home with you. All ages welcome!

Hudson Family Kitchen is a family-run business serving fresh, homemade food made with love.

Peacock Moss was created by musicians Abby Travis (The Go-Go’s, The Bangles, EODM, KMFDM) and her husband Tommy Greñas (Farflung, Nick Turner’s Space Ritual, Anubian Lights) out of Woodstock NY. Travis creates one of a kind succulent art plantings, kokedama and living spell terrariums. Greñas draws from his Celtic roots and childhood interest in Erich von Däniken to create mystical stone carvings. Their shared musical history informs Greñas’ hand silk screened shirt designs.

Located in the village of Ellenville, in New York's Hudson Valley, Everything Nice is an eclectic shop—owned and operated by music industry veteran Jessica Clark—that specializes in new and secondhand vinyl records, books, CDs, and tapes. Everything Nice is happy to provide its local community with a space for creativity, dialogue, and discovery.

For Plantasia, we’re bringing a special collection inspired by plants, flavor, and the changing season—including bright yuzu, earthy matcha, raspberry, and sweet corn chocolates. Come find us for something a little unexpected, beautifully made, and delicious.

Veró is a Kingston-based multidisciplinary artist specializing in botanical dyes, drawing on both craft and curiosity to shape each piece. They primarily work with natural fabrics such as cotton, linen, and silk, using plant-based sources and extracts including cochineal, kusumi lac, madder root, marigold, sumac, coreopsis, and indigo.
